WHAT IS ABDOMINAL STRETCHING? 

Aging, genetics, weight and pregnancy due to the accumulation of excess fat and sagging skin in the abdomen, tightening and stretching, to achieve an aesthetic appearance of the surgical procedures are called abdominal stretch aesthetics. Abdominoplasty, also known as abdominal stretch aesthetic, connective tissues in the abdominal region are squeezed with sutures, repositioned.

How to do Abdominal Stretching Aesthetics?

Before performing abdominal stretching, the appropriate aesthetic form is determined. Two methods are applied in abdominal stretching aesthetics. These;

Full Abdominal Stretching Aesthetics

Complete abdominal stretching is performed under local or general anesthesia. Abdominal tension requires a horizontally oriented incision in the area between the pubic line and the navel.The incision is made according to the length and thickness of the bed or the skin disposing vertically. After removing the excess skin of the upper abdomen, the underlying weakened muscles are repaired again. A second incision may be required to remove excess skin from the upper abdomen. The skin in the upper abdomen is pulled down and positioned around the navel.Excess oil and skin are removed and the remaining part is covered with surgical sutures or skin adhesives.Total abdominal stretching aesthetics lasts approximately 2.5-4 hours.

Mini (Partial) Abdominal Stretching Aesthetics

Abdominal, full abdominal stretching aesthetics are not necessary to stretch and slightly loosened patients. Mini abdominal stretching is also performed under local or general anesthesia. First liposuction is applied. Small incision is made in the lower abdomen according to the thickness of the skin. The abdominal skin is removed to the navel. Skin is tightened and excess skin and oils are removed and covered with surgical sutures or skin adhesives. The average operation time is 1.5-2 hours.

What Should Be Done After Abdominal Stretching Aesthetics?

After mini or full abdominal stretching, the abdominal area will be bandaged with a tight and elastic band.  Maintenance and replacement of the bandage should be kept under control in the post-operative period. There may be swelling, redness and pain in the abdomen for several weeks after surgery. Painkillers, antibiotics and other medications to be prescribed by the doctor should be used on time. Abdominal stretching after the first few days should be inclined to avoid damage to the surgical area. 5-6 days after the upright position can be rinsed. It is necessary to avoid exercise, sports and sunlight during the first 2 weeks.  Abdominal stretching is permanent with weight control and regular exercise.
